Good Morning History is Calling

Good Morning History is Calling

House of Darwin joined forces with Jungles Jungles and Double Rainbouu to host an evening with Thomas Mayo at Freda's in Sydney.

Bringing together three Australian brands with a shared commitment to community and culture, the event welcomed guests from across the creative, media and advocacy sectors for an intimate conversation centred on truth-telling, leadership and the future of First Nations Australia.

Throughout the evening, Thomas reflected on his experiences as an author, advocate and signatory to the Uluru Statement from the Heart, sharing stories that sparked thoughtful discussion long after the formal conversation had ended. More than a keynote, the event created an opportunity for people to gather, listen and engage with ideas that continue to shape our country.

For House of Darwin, evenings like this are an extension of what we believe a brand can be. Beyond clothing, we want to help create spaces where conversations happen, communities connect and First Nations voices are heard.

A huge thank you to Thomas Mayo for his generosity, to Jungles Jungles and Double Rainbouu for collaborating with us, and to everyone who joined us at Freda's.

We're proud to continue creating moments that bring people together through culture, conversation and community.
