This collaboration between Bábbarra Women’s Centre and House of Darwin represents a powerful union of Indigenous businesses, celebrating our shared creativity, culture and community. Bábbarra has unearthed their 1990s archive screen prints for this exclusive collaboration, making this shirt truly special with limited availability.

Each shirt is printed onsite in the community and features a classic boxy fit with four utility pockets, expertly blending style and durability for the Territory grind. Hand-dyed individually, each piece may have slight variations in colour or design, making each shirt special and one of a kind. This partnership highlights the strength of art, community, and Indigenous leadership.

Bábbarra Women’s Centre is a women-led enterprise dedicated to supporting sustainable livelihoods. As one of Australia’s few Indigenous textile-producing art centres, it specialises in hand-printed fabrics using linocut and screen printing techniques. Guided by the Bábbarra Women’s Board, the centre empowers women in remote homelands around Maningrida, celebrating their creativity and cultural strength. A portion of the profits from this shirt will directly support the Bábbarra Women’s Centre.

Additionally, this piece was proudly featured on the runway at Melbourne Fashion Week 2024.
